Yes. WattTrim supports both residential and small commercial accounts across all five Texas TDU service areas. Small business customers can use our Quick Estimate, full audit, and Sentinel monitoring with commercial-specific TDU delivery rates applied automatically. Simply select "Small Business" when entering your information.
How does WattTrim find savings?
WattTrim analyzes your actual Smart Meter Texas usage data, interval by interval, against every available electricity plan in your TDU area. We factor in time-of-use pricing, bill credits, TDU delivery charges, base fees, solar export credits, and early termination fees to show you exactly what each plan would cost for your specific usage pattern.
Is my data secure?
Your usage data is pulled securely through Smart Meter Texas after you authorize access. We never store your personal information longer than needed to deliver your report. Bill photos are analyzed securely and never stored. Your personal identifiers are tokenized and stored separately from your usage data, so your identity is never linked to your electricity analysis.
What do I need to get started?
Your email, your ESIID (Electric Service Identifier), and your meter number. Both are found on any Texas electricity bill. If you have a recent bill handy, upload a photo and we'll find them for you. After you submit, you'll receive an email from Smart Meter Texas to authorize data access. Once approved, we pull your usage data and email you when your report is ready.
